One Sunday afternoon, while the family was away, I stumbled through the cellar and came up with these items: a sauerkraut-tin, a piece of beech-wood from a lath floor, some zither tuning pegs and used guitar strings. Plus some copper wire and some tools. So this instrument was generated and is quite nice to play simple and bourdun-tunes on it. The sound is a bit metallic, close to a banjo. And as the neck is rather flexible it may produce some wha-wha-effect as well.
